Help us celebrate the newest exhibition at Memphis' art museum! This invitation-only party will be the first chance to experience Memphis-based Peruvian-American photographer Andrea Morales’s portrayal of the Delta South which is deeply rooted in the communities she engages with, and because of this, a truer account of this region that is often portrayed through stereotypes, misperceptions, nostalgia, and storytelling.
Andrea Morales: Roll Down Like Water is supported by the Terra Foundation for American Art, the Henry Luce Foundation, and the Arthur F. and Alice E. Adams Charitable Foundation with additional support provided by MLK50: Justice Through Journalism, Bill and Lisa Courtney, Underground Art, Inc.
